Grigory Maslennikov aka Gregory Emvy (b. 1986)
Grigory Maslennikov is a contemporary Russian painter and designer. He was born in 1986 in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia and graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Nizhny Novgorod College of Art. He moved to Moscow in 2010. His first solo exhibition Human Souls took place at Frieze Art Fair, London. He was the winner of the Amsterdam International Art Fair. He paints, works with ceramics, concrete, marble and metal, and designs furniture. He currently lives, works and studies In Mexico.
Grigory Maslennikov’s work was exhibited at the Manifesta 10 in Saint Petersburg (2014). His personal exhibition Metamorphosis took place in Cabinet Lounge business space, Moscow (2017).
