Hankson Hako


Cameroonian artist Hako Hankson was the son of a sculptor and the official custodian of the ceremonial cultural objects required for the initiation of a chief. So already at a young age, Hankson had access to objects such as scepters, totems and masks, images of which he often uses in his work.
